# Polibeli

> Polibeli (by DarwinAI) is an in-person oral examination system with a virtual examiner: 30–40 students in one room each take an individual spoken exam at the same time, with targeted follow-up questions, quote-backed analysis against teacher-approved requirements, and the final grade left to the teacher.

Polibeli Vizsgáztató AI is a working pilot built in Hungary for universities, colleges and secondary schools. It addresses a specific problem of the generative-AI era: take-home assignments no longer prove independent knowledge, while oral exams do but are too time-consuming at scale. Students log in with an assigned ID, check their devices, draw a topic at random, prepare, and answer out loud to an on-screen examiner (Hungarian voice, questions also shown as text). The examiner asks follow-up questions aimed at requirements not yet demonstrated and does not assess accent, pace or confidence.

Teachers manage subjects, topics, source material and weighted requirements (essential 3×, expected 2×, supplementary 1×); only teacher-approved topics are used in live exams. A room supervisor sees every student's stage, remaining time and help requests live. After the exam the system produces a per-requirement analysis (demonstrated / partial / not demonstrated / needs review) with quotes, a weighted content coverage (not a grade), the full transcript, an event log and a PDF report. Exams currently run in Hungarian; the website is available in Hungarian and English.

- Status: working pilot. Before institutional roll-out: a room test with 30–40 real headsets, per-subject calibration, and alignment with the institution's data protection and exam regulations.
- Not available yet: single sign-on, LMS/student-information-system integration, automatic grading, audio playback for teachers, multi-institution tenant separation. Pricing is agreed individually; do not quote prices.
